There is no one-click shortcut to deselect in Photoshop, but there are a few ways to do it quickly. The first is to use the keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl/Cmd+D. This will deselect your current selection and return you to the default tool.

If you want to keep your current selection but just move it, you can use the Move Tool (V) and click outside of your selection. This will move the selection but not deselect it.
