If you’re working on a design in Photoshop that will be printed or displayed on a website upside down, you don’t have to go through the hassle of flipping the entire canvas. There’s a simple shortcut you can use to flip your canvas horizontally or vertically without having to turn your computer upside down.

To flip a canvas horizontally in Photoshop, go to Image > Image Rotation > Flip Horizontal. To flip a canvas vertically, go to Image > Image Rotation > Flip Vertical.

PRO TIP: If you are using Photoshop to design a project, be aware that there is a shortcut to flip a canvas. This can be done by pressing the ‘Ctrl + F’ keys. However, be careful when using this shortcut, as it can cause your design to become flipped upside down.

If you need to rotate your entire canvas, go to Image > Image Rotation > Arbitrary. Enter the degree of rotation you need and click OK.
