What Is Wix Payment Fee?

Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 11:26 pm

Wix is a popular website builder that allows users to create and design their own websites. One of the features that Wix offers is the ability to accept payments on your website.

In order to do this, Wix charges a payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. This fee is in addition to any fees charged by your payment processor (such as PayPal or Stripe).

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

PRO TIP: The Wix Payment Fee is a charge that is applied to your account when you make a payment through the Wix platform. This fee is in addition to any other fees that may be charged by your payment processor.

While the 2.30 fee may seem like a lot, it’s actually quite reasonable when you compare it to other website builders. For example, Squarespace charges a 3% processing fee on all credit card transactions, and Weebly charges 2.30 per transaction (plus an additional 1% for international transactions).

So if you’re looking to accept payments on your Wix website, be prepared to pay a small fee for each transaction. But rest assured knowing that you’re not being overcharged – in fact, you’re actually getting a pretty good deal!
