First of all, the software is very limited in terms of customization and flexibility. You will be stuck with whatever templates and designs Wix provides, and you will not be able to change much. Secondly, the software is known to be buggy and unreliable. There have been many reports of websites created with Wix that simply do not work properly. Finally, Wix is a closed platform, which means that you will not be able to export your website to another host if you decide you don’t like Wix.
