What Is WooCommerce Thank You URL?

Last updated on January 16, 2023 @ 2:29 pm

WooCommerce is a powerful ecommerce solution for WordPress, and one of its best features is the ability to customize the “thank you” page that appears after a customer completes a purchase. By default, WooCommerce will redirect customers to the “My Account” page after purchase, but you can change this behavior by setting a custom WooCommerce thank you URL.

There are a few reasons why you might want to set a custom WooCommerce thank you URL. Maybe you want to redirect customers to a specific landing page that offers additional products or services.

Or maybe you want to create a unique thank you message for each customer. Whatever the reason, setting a custom WooCommerce thank you URL is easy to do.

To set a custom WooCommerce thank you URL, first log into your WordPress dashboard. Then go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced. Under the “Checkout Process” section, you’ll see an option for “Thank You Page”.

By default, this option is set to “My Account”. But you can change it to any other page on your website by selecting the “Custom Thank You Page” option and then entering the URL of the page in the box provided.

Once you’ve set your custom WooCommerce thank you URL, don’t forget to click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page. Now when customers complete a purchase on your website, they’ll be redirected to the custom thank you page that you’ve created just for them.
