What is your goal as a UX UI designer?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:29 pm

UX UI designers are responsible for creating a user interface that is both visually appealing and easy to use. They must consider both the user’s needs and the design constraints of the software or website they are working on.

Some common goals of a UX UI designer are to create a user interface that is both usable and pleasing to the eye, create a user interface that is easy to learn and use, and create a user interface that is responsive to user input.

PRO TIP: When interviewing for a UX UI designer position, be careful how you answer the question, “What is your goal as a UX UI designer?”

If you’re not careful, you could easily come across as someone who is only interested in the design aspect of the job, and not the user experience or practical applications of the design.

Instead, focus on your goals for the role in terms of improving the user experience and delivering practical, effective designs.

UX UI designers must be able to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to difficult design challenges. They must be able to communicate with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that the final product meets everyone’s needs.

Ultimately, a UX UI designer’s goal is to create a user interface that is both intuitive and easy to use.
