There is no definitive answer to this question as Azure’s service availability is constantly changing and evolving. However, we can provide a snapshot of the most recent Azure outages.

On March 15, 2019, Azure suffered a brief outage that affected a small number of customers. This outage followed a longer outage on February 21, 2019 that affected a larger number of customers.

PRO TIP: Azure is a cloud computing service created by Microsoft. It is reliable and scalable, however, like any cloud service, it is not immune to outages. The last Azure outage occurred on February 28th, 2017 and lasted for approximately 12 hours. While outages are rare, they can happen and when they do, it can be disruptive to your business.

On October 15, 2018, Azure suffered a brief outage that affected a small number of customers. This outage followed a longer outage on September 6, 2018 that affected a larger number of customers.

On June 21, 2018, Azure suffered a brief outage that affected a small number of customers. This outage followed a longer outage on May 24, 2018 that affected a larger number of customers.

On February 21, 2019, Azure suffered a longer outage that affected a larger number of customers. This outage followed a brief outage on March 15, 2019.
