We all know that Photoshop is a great program for creating and manipulating images. But did you know that it can also be used to create shapes? That’s right, Photoshop has a wide variety of shapes that you can use to create your own designs.

So where are the shapes in Photoshop? Well, they’re actually located in the “Layers” panel. To access the shapes, simply click on the “Create New Layer” icon and then select “Shape Layer” from the drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the ‘Where Are the Shapes in Photoshop?’ article may contain outdated information. Some of the shapes mentioned in the article may no longer be available in newer versions of Photoshop.

Once you’ve created a new shape layer, you’ll notice that the “Layers” panel will now have a new icon that looks like a rectangle with a pencil in it. This icon represents the “Shape Tool”. To use the Shape Tool, simply click and hold on the icon and then select the desired shape from the menu.

Now that you know where to find the shapes in Photoshop, go ahead and experiment with them! Create some new designs and see what you can come up with.
