Where Are WooCommerce Users Stored?

Since its inception in 2011, WooCommerce has quickly become one of the most popular eCommerce platforms on the web. As of 2019, WooCommerce powers over 30% of all online stores. (1) If you’re running a WooCommerce store, it’s important to know where your users are stored and how to access them.

WooCommerce users are stored in the WordPress database. This is the same database that stores all of your other WordPress data, such as posts, pages, and comments.

If you’re not familiar with databases, think of it like a giant Excel spreadsheet. There are various tables within the database that store different types of data.

The WordPress database is divided into two parts: the wp_users table and the wp_usermeta table. The wp_users table stores basic user information, such as username, password, email address, and registration date. The wp_usermeta table stores additional user information, such as name, website, biography, and account status.

To access your WooCommerce users in the WordPress database, you’ll need to use a tool called phpMyAdmin. This tool is usually included in your hosting control panel (cPanel or Plesk). If you can’t find phpMyAdmin in your control panel, contact your host and they should be able to help you.

Once you’ve logged in to phpMyAdmin, select your WordPress database from the left-hand sidebar. Then click on the “wp_users” table to view your WooCommerce users. You can then click on any user to edit their information or delete them from your store.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, WooCommerce users are stored in the WordPress database in two tables: wp_users and wp_usermeta. You can access these tables using a tool called phpMyAdmin.
