Where Do I Find My Shopify Code?

As a Shopify partner, you have access to a range of Shopify-specific code that can be used to customize your shop’s theme and functionality. This code is available in the “Shopify Code” section of your partner dashboard.

In the “Shopify Code” section, you will find three types of code:

Theme Code: This code is used to customize the look and feel of your shop.

It includes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.

Shopify App Code: This code is used to add features and functionality to your shop. It includes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.

General Code: This code is used for general customization of your shop. It can include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and Ruby code.

To find the code for your shop, select the “Shopify Code” option from the left-hand sidebar of your partner dashboard. Then, select the type of code you want to use from the drop-down menu. Finally, select the specific code you want to use from the list of available options.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for your Shopify code, be warned that it is not always easy to find. The code is usually hidden in the settings or buried in the code of your theme. If you are having trouble finding it, try contacting Shopify support or your theme developer for help.

3 types of Shopify Codes are available in the “Shopify Code” section of Partner Dashboard which are as follows-

  1. Theme Code: It is used for customizing the look and feel of your shop and it includes HTML, CSS and JS codes.
  2. Shopify App Code: It is used for adding features & functionality to your store & it also has HTML, CSS & JS codes.
  3. General Code: (for general store customization) which has HTML, CSS & JS plus Liquid & Ruby codes.

To find out the code for your shop-

  1. “Shopify Codes” option has to be selected from left hand side bar on Partner Dashboard.
  2. “Type of Code” has to be chosen from drop down menu according to requirement.
  3. “Specific Code” required can be selected from list of available options.
