If you’re a WooCommerce user, chances are you’ve had to find your API key at some point. Whether you’re integrating with a third-party service or just need to view your key for reference, here’s where to find it.
To start, log into your WooCommerce account and go to WooCommerce > Settings. On the Settings screen, select the Advanced tab and then click on Rest API.
On the Rest API page, you’ll see a list of all the users on your site with their corresponding API keys. If you need to generate a new key for a user, simply click on the Add Key button.
When adding or editing a key, you’ll need to provide a description and select the user who this key will belong to. You can also set the permissions for this key, which will determine what data the key has access to. For example, a key with Read permission will only be able to view data, while a key with Write permission will be able to edit data as well.
Once you’ve generated a new key or edited an existing one, be sure to click on the Update button to save your changes.
