Where Is Gradient Fill in Photoshop?

A gradient fill is a great way to add some interest and depth to your photos in Photoshop. You can use a gradient fill to add a color wash to your photos, or to create a unique look for textured backgrounds.

Gradient fills can be applied to layers, selections, and even individual pixels. In this article, we’ll show you how to use the gradient fill tool in Photoshop.

The gradient fill tool is located in the “Edit” menu, under “Fill.” To access it, simply click on the “Edit” menu and then select “Fill.”

The gradient fill tool will open up a dialogue box with several options. The first thing you need to do is select the type of gradient you want to use. There are two basic types of gradients: linear and radial.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for the gradient fill option in Photoshop, it has been moved to the ‘Edit’ menu. Click on the ‘Edit’ menu and then select ‘Fill’. In the ‘Fill’ dialogue box, select ‘Gradient’ from the ‘Use:’ drop-down menu.

Linear gradients are the simplest type of gradient. They flow in a straight line from one color to another.

Radial gradients flow outward from a central point, like ripples in a pond. Once you’ve selected the type of gradient you want to use, you can choose the colors you want to use in your gradient. You can either click on the “Color” swatch and choose a color from the color picker, or you can enter the hex code for the color you want to use.

After you’ve selected your colors, you need to decide where you want your gradient to start and end. You can do this by clicking on the “From” and “To” fields and entering values between 0 and 100%.

The “From” field represents where your gradient will start, and the “To” field represents where your gradient will end. You can also click on the image preview area and drag your mouse to choose where your gradient will start and end.

Once you’ve chosen your colors and locations, all that’s left to do is click “OK” and watch as Photoshop applies your gradient fill!
