HostGator DNS settings are located in the HostGator Control Panel under the DNS tab. The DNS tab contains the following settings:
1. Primary DNS: This is the primary DNS address that HostGator will use when resolving DNS requests.
2. Secondary DNS: This is the secondary DNS address that HostGator will use when resolving DNS requests.
3. Forwarders: This setting allows you to specify the DNS servers that HostGator will use to resolve DNS requests.
4. Auto-update: This setting allows you to enable or disable the automatic updating of HostGator’s DNS settings.
5. Refresh: This setting allows you to specify the time interval, in minutes, that HostGator will use to refresh its DNS settings.
6. Enable IPv6: This setting allows you to enable or disable IPv6 support.
7. IPv6 Prefix: This setting allows you to specify the IPv6 prefix that HostGator will use when resolving DNS requests.
8. IPv6 Address: This setting allows you to specify the IPv6 address that HostGator will use when resolving DNS requests.
9. Default Gateway: This setting allows you to specify the default gateway that HostGator will use when resolving DNS requests.
10. DNS Servers: This setting allows you to specify the DNS servers that HostGator will use to resolve DNS requests.
11. Preferred DNS Server: This setting allows you to specify the preferred DNS server that HostGator will use to resolve DNS requests.
12. Disable Auto-update: This setting prevents HostGator from automatically updating its DNS settings.
13. Refresh Interval: This setting allows you to specify the time interval, in minutes, that HostGator will use to refresh its DNS settings.
14. OK: This button allows you to save your changes to the DNS settings.
15. Cancel: This button allows you to cancel your changes to the DNS settings.
16. Reset: This button allows you to reset all the DNS settings to their default values.
