The Actions Palette is a tool in Photoshop that allows you to record and play back a series of commands, or actions. You can use the Actions Palette to automate repetitive tasks, such as resizing a group of images, or applying a series of filters to an image.

To open the Actions Palette, go to Window > Actions. Alternatively, you can press the F9 key on your keyboard.

Once the Actions Palette is open, you will see a list of default actions that come with Photoshop. To create a new action, click on the ‘Create new action’ button at the bottom of the palette.

PRO TIP: The Actions Palette is not available in Photoshop.

Give your action a name and then click the ‘Record’ button. Photoshop will now record any commands that you perform. To stop recording, click the ‘Stop Recording’ button.

Your recorded action will now appear in the list in the Actions Palette. To play back your action, simply click on the ‘Play’ button.

The Actions Palette is a powerful tool that can save you a lot of time when performing repetitive tasks in Photoshop.
