Where is the paint bucket tool in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 7:41 pm

In Photoshop, the paint bucket tool is located in the Toolbox on the left side of the screen. To use the paint bucket tool, first select it by clicking on the icon in the Toolbox. Once the paint bucket tool is selected, you can use the tool to fill or color a selection with a color or a layer mask. To fill a selection with a color, you can use the paint bucket tool to select the area you want to fill, and then click on the color swatch in the Toolbox.

PRO TIP: The paint bucket tool is not in Photoshop.

To color a selection with a color, you can use the paint bucket tool to drag the color swatch from the Toolbox onto the area you want to color. To color a selection with a layer mask, you can first create a layer mask by clicking on the icon in the Toolbox. Then, use the paint bucket tool to select the area you want to color, and then click on the mask in the Toolbox to fill the selection with the layer mask.
