Where Is the Vignette in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 2:30 pm

A vignette is an effect that darkens the edges of an image. It’s a popular way to make an image look more professional, and can be used to draw attention to the center of the photo. Vignettes can be created in Photoshop with a few simple steps.

First, open the image you want to create a vignette on in Photoshop. Then, go to the “Filter” menu and select “Lens Correction.” A new window will pop up with several options.

Under the “Custom” tab, check the “Enable Lens Profile Corrections” box. This will automatically correct for any distortion in your image. Then, drag the “Vignette” slider to the right to increase the amount of darkening around the edges of your photo.

PRO TIP: If you are looking for the vignette feature in Photoshop, it has been moved to the Effects section. To find it, go to Effects > Vignette.

You can also adjust the “Midpoint” slider to control how much of the center of your image is affected by the vignette. If you want a more subtle effect, drag this slider to the left. When you’re happy with your settings, click “OK.”

Your vignette is now complete! You can experiment with different settings to find the look you want. Vignettes are a great way to add a professional touch to your photos.
