WooCommerce is a powerful eCommerce platform that enables store owners to sell online. As with any eCommerce platform, there are certain settings and options that need to be configured in order to get the most out of the system. One of the most important aspects of setting up a WooCommerce store is configuring the display settings.
The display settings in WooCommerce control how products are displayed on the front-end of the store. This includes things like the number of products per page, how products are sorted, and what information is displayed on the product page.
Configuring the WooCommerce display settings can seem like a daunting task, but it’s actually quite simple. In this article, we’ll show you where to find the WooCommerce display settings and how to configure them.
The WooCommerce display settings are located in the WordPress admin under WooCommerce > Settings > Products. There are three tabs in the products settings: General, Display, and Inventory. The display settings are located in the Display tab.
There are four sections in the Display tab: Shop Page Display, Default Category Display, Default Product Sorting, and Product Images. Each section has its own set of options that can be configured.
Shop Page Display controls how products are displayed on the shop page. The options in this section include: number of products per page, number of columns, and product order (by name, price, date, or popularity).
Default Category Display controls how products are displayed on category pages. The options in this section include: number of products per page and product order (by name, price, date, or popularity).
Default Product Sorting controls how products are sorted on category pages and the shop page. The options in this section include: default sorting method (by name, price, date, or popularity) and sort order (ascending or descending).
Product Images controls how product images are displayed on the product page. The options in this section include: image size (thumbnail, medium, large), crop thumbnail images (yes or no), and hard crop thumbnail images (yes or no).
Once you’ve configured the WooCommerce display settings to your liking, be sure to click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
