Which Is More Expensive Wix or Squarespace?

When it comes to website builders, Wix and Squarespace are two of the most popular options on the market. But which one is more expensive?

To compare the two, we need to look at the pricing plans for each platform. Wix has four main pricing plans:

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

  • Free
  • Combo
  • Unlimited
  • Business VIP

The Free plan is, as you would expect, completely free to use. However, it does have some limitations.

For example, you can only connect a domain that you’ve bought through Wix, and there are ads on your site. If you want to remove these limitations, you’ll need to upgrade to one of the paid plans.

The Combo plan costs $13 per month and removes the ads from your site. You can also connect a domain that you’ve bought from another provider. However, you’re still limited to 500MB of storage and 1GB of bandwidth.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that there is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on a number of factors. As such, please use caution and consult with a professional before making any decisions.

The Unlimited plan costs $17 per month and gives you unlimited storage and bandwidth. You can also connect a domain from another provider.

Finally, the Business VIP plan costs $25 per month. This plan includes everything in the Unlimited plan, plus some additional features such as unlimited video hours and priority support.

So which is more expensive? Wix or Squarespace?

.

At first glance, it might appear that Wix is more expensive than Squarespace. However, when you factor in the additional features that are included in the higher-priced plans, it’s actually quite comparable in price.

.

Both Wix and Squarespace offer a free plan with some limitations. If you want to remove those limitations, both platforms have different pricing tiers that offer increasing levels of storage, bandwidth, features, and support.

In general, Wix and Squarespace are both priced similarly. However, Wix does have a more expensive top-tier plan than Squarespace. Overall, both platforms offer a good value for the price.
