Figma was founded in 2012 by Dylan Field and Evan Wallace. Figma is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Seattle, New York, Melbourne, and London.
Dylan Field is the CEO and co-founder of Figma. He started programming when he was 8 years old and has been building software ever since. He studied Computer Science at Brown University, where he was a member of the varsity swim team and won the National Championship in the 200m butterfly.
Evan Wallace is the CTO and co-founder of Figma. He studied Computer Science at Stanford University, where he focused on 3D graphics and human-computer interaction. He was a member of the USA National Team in Taekwondo and won a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2006.
