Last updated on September 30, 2022 @ 11:54 am

If you’ve created a site on Wix, you may be wondering why you’re not getting paid. Here are a few potential reasons:

1. You haven’t set up a payment method

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

In order to get paid on Wix, you need to have a payment method set up. This can be done in your Wix account settings. Once you’ve added your payment method, you’ll be able to receive payments for your services.

2. You haven’t added your billing information

In order to get paid, you also need to add your billing information to your Wix account. This can be done in the same section of your account settings where you set up your payment method. Once you’ve added your billing information, Wix will be able to send payments to you.

PRO TIP: If you are not receiving payments on Wix, there could be a few reasons why. Make sure that you have correctly entered your payment information and that your account is in good standing. If you still don’t see payments coming through, contact Wix support for further assistance.

3. You haven’t published your site

If you haven’t published your site, then no one will be able to see it and you won’t be able to get paid for it. Make sure that you hit the “Publish” button in your Wix account before trying to get paid.

4. You’re not using a premium plan

In order to get paid on Wix, you need to be using one of their premium plans. The free plan does not allow for payments to be made to users. If you’re not using a premium plan, upgrade your account and then try again.

Conclusion:

If you’re not getting paid on Wix, it could be for any number of reasons. Make sure that you have a payment method set up and that you’ve added your billing information before trying to get paid. Also, make sure that your site is published and that you’re using a premium plan.
