Why can’t I edit the header in Elementor?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 3:31 am

When you go to Elementor to make a new header, the editor will default to a basic gray color, which you can’t change. There are a few ways to get around this.

One way is to use the preset colors that Elementor provides. To do this, go to Elementor’s Settings tab, and under “Header & Background Colors,” choose a preset from the list.

PRO TIP: If you are using Elementor to edit your website, you may have noticed that you cannot edit the header. This is because Elementor does not support editing headers. You can either use a different program to edit your header, or you can edit the code directly.

Another way is to use a custom header color. To do this, go to Elementor’s Settings tab, and under “Header & Background Colors,” select the “Custom” option.

Then, under “Header Color,” enter the color you want.

If you want to change the header’s text color instead of the background color, you can do that too. To do this, go to Elementor’s Settings tab, and under “Header & Background Colors,” select the “Text” option.
