Why Do I Keep Getting Weebly Text Messages?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 4:49 pm

Weebly is a popular website builder that allows users to create and edit their own websites. Weebly also offers a mobile app, which allows users to access their Weebly website on the go. However, some users have reported receiving text messages from Weebly, even though they have not signed up for the service.

So why do some users keep getting Weebly text messages? There are a few possible explanations.

One possibility is that the user has signed up for the Weebly mobile app, but has not yet verified their phone number. In order to use the Weebly mobile app, users must first verify their phone number. Once a user verifies their phone number, they will no longer receive text messages from Weebly.

PRO TIP: If you are receiving unexpected or unwanted Weebly text messages, it is possible that your phone number has been added to a marketing list. Weebly does not send marketing text messages to our customers. If you would like to stop receiving these messages, you can reply “STOP” to the number that is sending them.

Another possibility is that the user has signed up for a free trial of the Weebly service, but has not yet entered their payment information. Free trials of the Weebly service require users to enter their payment information before the trial period ends. If a user does not enter their payment information, they will begin to receive text messages from Weebly reminding them to do so.

Finally, it’s also possible that the user has simply opted in to receiving text messages from Weebly. Some users may find that they receive occasional text messages from Weebly about new features or special offers. These messages can be turned off by going to the ‘Settings’ page on the Weebly website and changing the ‘Text Message Notifications’ setting to ‘Off’.

So there are a few possible explanations for why some users keep getting Weebly text messages. If you’re receiving unwanted texts from Weebly, be sure to check if you’ve verified your phone number for the mobile app or if your free trial is coming to an end. You can also opt out of receiving text messages by changing your settings on the Weebly website.
