Why Is Fiverr Unapproved Request?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:48 pm

Fiverr is a marketplace where people can buy and sell services starting at $5. However, Fiverr is not without its problems. In particular, the company has been criticized for its “unapproved request” policy.

Under this policy, if a buyer requests a refund or cancellation of an order, the seller has 14 days to respond. If the seller does not respond within that time frame, the request is automatically “unapproved” and the buyer is not entitled to a refund.

PRO TIP: If you are considering using Fiverr to source your next project, you should be aware that there is a possibility that your request may be unapproved. This can happen for a number of reasons, including if the request is deemed to be inappropriate or if it does not meet the site’s guidelines. If your request is unapproved, you will not be able to complete the project and will not be refunded.

Critics of this policy argue that it puts too much pressure on sellers to respond quickly to refund requests, and that it gives buyers too little recourse if they are unhappy with a purchase.

What do you think? Is Fiverr’s unapproved request policy fair to both buyers and sellers? Let us know in the comments!
