Why Is My Cart Not Showing on Squarespace?

If you’re using Squarespace, and your cart is not showing up, there are a few possible explanations.

First, it’s important to check that you have the Enable eCommerce setting turned on in your site settings. To do this, go to Settings > Commerce > Enable eCommerce. If this setting is turned off, your cart will not show up on your site, even if you have products added to it.

If the Enable eCommerce setting is turned on, but your cart still isn’t showing up, it’s possible that there are no products in your cart. To add products to your cart, go to the Products page and click the Add to Cart button for each product you want to add. Once you have at least one product in your cart, it should start showing up on your site.

If you have products in your cart and the Enable eCommerce setting is turned on, but your cart still isn’t showing up, it’s possible that your theme is not compatible with Squarespace commerce. To check this, open the Theme Info panel.

You can do this by going to Design > Customize > Info. If you see a message that says “This theme was not built for commerce,” then that means your theme is not compatible with Squarespace commerce and you will need to switch to a different theme.
