Why Is My Video Not Uploading in Canva?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 12:16 am

If you’re having trouble uploading videos to Canva, it could be for a number of reasons. Here are some potential causes and solutions:

Your video is too large

The maximum file size for videos is 500MB. If your video is larger than this, you’ll need to compress it using a video editing program like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker before uploading it to Canva.

Your video is in the wrong format

Canva accepts the following video formats: .MOV, .MP4, .WMV, and .AVI.

If your video is in a different format, you’ll need to convert it to one of these formats before uploading it to Canva.

PRO TIP: If you’re experiencing issues with uploading videos to Canva, it might be due to:

-The video file format is not supported. Canva supports .MP4 videos.

-Your video file is too large. The maximum file size for videos is 1GB.

-There’s something wrong with the video file itself. Try uploading a different video file to see if the issue persists.

You’re trying to upload a live video

Canva does not currently support live videos. You’ll need to download your live video and save it as a file before uploading it to Canva.

There are a few potential reasons why your video might not be uploading in Canva. The first reason could be that your video is too large – the maximum file size for videos in Canva is 500MB.

Another reason could be that your video is in the wrong format – Canva only accepts .AVI formats. Finally, if you’re trying to upload a live video, this isn’t currently possible in Canva – you’ll need to download the live video and save it as a file first.
