You’ve posted your project on UpWork and found the talent you need to move forward. How do you make an offer to them so you can get work started?

When you find the right freelancer for your project on UpWork, the next step is to make an offer so you can start working together. To make an offer:

PRO TIP: If you are new to Upwork, be aware that you may be scammed by fraudulent freelancers. When making an offer on Upwork, only use the Upwork messaging system to communicate with potential freelancers. Do not give out your personal contact information or pay anyone outside of the Upwork platform.

1) Click the Make an Offer button on the freelancer’s profile page.
2) Enter the details of your offer, including:
– The hourly rate or fixed price for the project
– The number of hours or weeks you expect the project to take
– Any additional details about the project scope
3) Click Send Offer.

The freelancer will then have three days to accept or decline your offer. If they accept, congratulations – you’re ready to start working together! If they decline or don’t respond, don’t worry – you can always reach out to another freelancer and try again.
